  • Adobe to Buy Macromedia

This either means great products for Adobe or crappy development for Dreamweaver: Adobe to buy Macromedia in $3.4 billion stock deal.

  • DeLay Top Ten

Adapted from Democrats.org list. I wanted to type it out so it makes more sense to me: DeLay’s daughter and wife were paid $500K+ since 2001 by DeLay PACs and campaign committees. Complaint: payments considered unusually generous. 1997 trip to Moscow paid for by covert off-shore company that may be a front for Russian companies/seuciryt […]

  • Papal Entmoot

Wherein I rant. Audio quality stinks on conversion. I’ll troubleshoot that for the next episode. MP3 File

This […]

  • Ephedra Ban Overturned

Gymbunnies everywhere rejoice: On Thursday, a court in Utah ruled on a challenge to the ban from Nutraceutical International Corp. and said the FDA had failed to show low ephedra doses posed a “significant or unreasonable risk.” Though I think state bans will remain in effect even if the federal ban is lifted.

  • Listen to Me Over at America Webworks

I just did a radio interview with Tony Marino and company at America Webworks about blogging and business. Listen to it now. I was a little nervous and probably talked too fast – eventually I calm down in the call. Couldn’t believe I couldn’t recognize that TV show theme song.

  • Nike Publishes Report on Factory Abuses

Between 25% and 50% of the factories in the region restrict access to toilets and drinking water during the workday. The same percentage deny workers at least one day off in seven. In more than half of Nike’s factories, the report said, employees worked more than 60 hours a day. In up to 25%, workers […]

  • Welcome, Yeasties!

Thanks, Madge for the shout-out – it has me cackling. See ya tonight.
