Those pictures are haunting. I figured that seeing the ground photos of the devastation would be more moving than any satellite imagery, but the shorline images really struck me as well. Naturally I was just imagining wreckage everywhere, so I wasn’t imagining that places had been wiped off the map altogether. I still don’t comprehend the damage.

This is the sadest thing i have seen since 9/11. Its so sad that a bunch of children were left without parents and now are left to fend for themselves. My school is raising money so that these children may have food and clothing.
    -thank you

Please pray for the victims and their families. I heard there are children being traded into many dangerous places, please especially pray for them. If you have anything to donate, please do so. Its probably unimaginable living there right now.

Yerko, the feelings are mutual. I am also still in shock. This is devastating. I cannot begin to imagine what it would be like to suffer like that. My heart goes out to all the victims, especially the children. Please people around the world, if you have the means, please assist them. It terrifies me to think that it could have been me out there, looking for my husband and baby. My prayers go out to them.

IM ALSO FROM CHILE BUT IM LIVING IN CHINA RIGHT NOW. IM GOING TO THAILAND TOMORROW. IM PROBABLY NOT GOING TO THE TSUNAMI AFFECTED AREA, BECAUSE WE (MY FAMILY) CAN NOT FIND ORGANIZATIONS WHICH DO CONSTRUCTION OR ANYTHING THAT WE MAY HELP ON WHILE WE ARE THERE. IF YOU KNOW OF ANY ORGANIZATION, PLEASE CONTACT ME AT exodus911JC at hotmail dot com
I THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART.
PLEASE DONATE YOUR TIME, AND ANITHING ELSE YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO DONATE TO THIS SUFFERING PEOPLE.
IF YOU ARE THINKING OF ADOPTING YOU SHOULD THINK IN THE TSUNAMI CHILDREN WHO HAVE LOST THEIR FAMILIES AND HOPE.
ALL THEY NEED IS LOVE AND THATS ALL THEY ARE ASKING FOR. A FRIEND OF MINE SAID IN A FW. I DARE YOU TO CARE. WELL I DARE YOU! TO CARE.

The tsunami photos were very devastating and horrible to look at. The tsunami left massive desrtuction to South Asia and it also broke apart families. I am very sorry for the children who are now alone, some without moms, dads ,and even without their families. I hope that the children would be put into the right families who love and would care for them and i know that this terrible event might stay with them for the rest of their lives. I am very happy that the other countries who were unaffected by the disaster are helping out South Asia.(God Bless)
