FCC Says Satellite Radio Censor Free

The FCC has ruled that Howard Stern won’t have anything to worry about with switching over to satellite radio since the service is strictly subscription-based. Hopefully this will apply to cable and keep the crazy fundamentalists focused on destroying free TV (though I’m sure they’ll target PBS instead of FOX).

This is great news for SatRad subscribers, although I’m hardly a Stern fan. What’s in it for glbt’s? Well, OutQ (the gay stream on Sirius) can continue to broadcast any content they like, including sex shows.

I’m a personal friend of John McMullen and a shrinking number of the staff at OutQ Radio. In fact, I was quoted in the New York Times because I was an early adapter when he moved from GayBC Radio.

Greg, my only thought is… Do you think sex shows are exclusively in the gay domain?

    Cheers,

    Paulie
