Twitter is testing a profile view that looks very much like Facebook and Google+

I've always wondered if this was on the way. The atomic unit of 'a tweet' doesn't always seem to be in full context (in stream- in conversation- as a retweet) and I think that's one reason adoption for Twitter is a different path than Facebook. With 'profiles' as an existing model that consumers have been trained to understand- this might help. I will say chopping the number of people follow on Twitter down to under 400 has made it much- much more enjoyable to use.
