Soylent Green is People!

I don’t think the fact that the Pope has Parkinson’s disease makes him any less deserving of my righteous scorn, so in light of that thought, Pope: choke and die you bastard.

Pope John Paul II put lobbying against gay marriage at the top of the Vatican’s agenda for 2005 and also urged politicians in prosperous nations Monday to do more for the millions of hungry people around the globe.

Remember that GAYS ARE EVIL and are actively destroying the foundation of society like a cancer! But also – feed the poor.

I’m pulling out the quotation marks for this one.

I’ve been thinking about this “foundation” business (because thinking about things seems to be what I’m best at). I would argue that there is no such thing as the “foundation” of “society” because “society” is somewhat of an abstract idea. In fact, a “society” itself is nothing more than the aggregation of smaller societies, and so ultimately, the aggregation of all societies amounts to the whole of humanity. To say that one group or even one single person erodes the “foundation” of society is to say that that person or group isn’t even human.

One could argue murder (or cannibalism if you want!) erodes this so-called “foundation”, but then the population rate is still growing as fast as could be expected. In fact, it would be a stupid argument because the rate of growth is increasing, and so there are even more murderers and possibly even more cannibals. They’re not slowing it down, so it would be ineffective to argue that they are “eroding” it. Besides, we all die at some point. If death is a part of life, a fact of life, it cannot be blamed for the “erosion” of “society” unless it happens on a catastrophic scale.

It seems, at least to me, that one cannot simply destroy the “foundation” of “society” without destroying the society itself, or in other words, killing them all (and possibly eating them).

What one can do, however, is use a whole host of tools to incite division among smaller societies, thereby causing them to faction off and possibly even destroy eachother. And by that token, I would argue that the Catholic Church has eroded societies more than anyone or anything else in history.

But the difference is that I don’t see this as a “bad” thing. Actively inciting division, bigotry and hatred, yes. Bad. Very bad. But as far as societies go, it’s just what we do. Even at a party, we break off into our cliques. People come and go. The cliques change. The societies change. Society changes; that is its nature.

End of rant. The Pope is just a queeny old bitch of epic proportions. When I think of the Pope, I think of Zell Miller in a KKK outfit at one of Rush Limbaugh’s chemical-friendly galas. If he didn’t control the minds of hundreds of millions of people, he wouldn’t piss me off at all.

Amen brotha! The part that galls me the most is that for someone in the position of power that he is, he knows that a huge chunk of the “christian” teachings are based on misinterpretations of the original text(s).

What a hypocrite! OH, Wouldn’t it be great if he ended up burning in hell for eons of time over being such a 2-faced, hate-monger?

    Hope springs eternal….

You’re spot on with this on Andy. I’ve been dealing with three kinds of religious dangers. First, the self-loathing atheist. One of my friends is basically an atheist-Jew; however, he says at least once a debate. Because there is no g-d, man must invent him so there is something higher than himself (and government–which he believes is evil *rolls eyes*).

This one is the worse because he thinks my mere ideas are dangerous. Specifically, he was “angry with me” for my post about the Philadelphia 11 and the Cross Hairs Focused on the Family ‘alerts’ they put out about ‘homosexual prosecutors’ advising police to arrest the felonious Christians.

The second kind of Christian I’ve been dealing with is the hair splitting Christian. One recently actually said to me slavery is wrong…but the Bible only supports “servitude.” The hairs that get split over things like…the old covenant and the new, this Bible translation or that, and/or salvation by grace (but then once saved I’ll WANT to do good things so if I don’t do good things maybe I wasn’t saved?) are already microscopic.

I mean think of this, Andy and others, this same bloke who told me about servants verses slaves, wouldn’t hear me explain the difference between temple prostitutes and “homosexuals.”

The last type, the political Christian are the types I reference in my blog post on the Philadelphia 11. These are the Carl Rove like ground troops who do exactly as you say. They suggest to the world that there’s some advantage to “celebacy” or to “marriage between a man and a woman only” or to “beating your children” or to “seeing a fetus as a civil right having human” or “covering the exposed breast of Justice” or of “killing the Infidels.”

They’re users of religious importance. These ground troops who say to hell with you if I can protect the kingdom of g-d.

The fact that they can g-d stamp with US Grade AAA-g-d approved on their very agenda and idea …and then… use the opposition to the idea as opposition to g-d is ingenious.

Finally, zealotry seems to be it’s own fuel.

Frankly, a reasoned, rational answer to things is never as inspiring or awesome as a mystical one…as one that suggests a special relationship with g-d.

It’s just like the progressive stance is always more nuanced and less “sound biteable” or “quotable” than the neo-con rants of a Carl Rave…I mean Rove.

Thank you for your post. And while we’re at it… How about a few member of TSCOTUS choke on some cock for not hearing the issue of gay adoptions?

Of course, for any of you SS like Patriot Act privacy eaters reading this post. Any suggestion of death by any person governmental, religious or other is coincidental and only a general part of my desire for them to be more like Christ.

    Regards,

    Paulie

That was a great post and good discussion. I have never understood why items on the Pope’s agenda include some politically charged social evil like gay marriage, abortion, stem cell research but aiding victims of natural disasters or providing homes for orphans or emphasizing loving your neighbor become footnotes.
