Proto-Fascism Makes Me Horny

To celebrate the new year, I’m adding a collection of 14 new categories to this blog. The fourteen points of fascism first authored by Lauren Britt.

  1. Powerful and continuing expressions of nationalism.
  2. Disdain for the importance of human rights.
  3. Identification of enemies/scapegoats as a unifying cause.
  4. The supremacy of the military/avid militarism.
  5. Rampant sexism.
  6. A controlled mass media.
  7. Obsession with national security.
  8. Religion and ruling elite tied together.
  9. Power of corporations protected.
  10. Power of labor suppressed or eliminated.
  11. Disdain and suppression of intellectuals and the arts.
  12. Obsession with crime and punishment.
  13. Rampant cronyism and corruption.
  14. Fraudulent elections.

Am I being alarmist? I dunno. Maybe. I do think that any society that puts themselves above the possibility of sliding into a dictatorship has already made the first step. ‘It could never happen here,’ is the way we dismiss the obvious steps. Power begets power. Anyway – a new taxonomy for cataloging things. Big hug!

    i have been studying the philosophy of governments, religion and we the people which list all these problems from the time of plato, they are real and have been unanswered for the last two thousand years. in the comming days my book Awake the third testament i describe how the third testament will not be written but lived, the day the people awaken to the reality that just as there is a national body to govern the people, there should be a “seperate” national body of religion to save the people, and sustain the government, in an effort to have a national body of we the people able approach the governing body as the true voice of the people, able to rescue the elderly, fund a health care plan fix the social security problem. with the aid of the faith based initiative form a single body of religious persons (not a government) as we have seen with katrina, and the present lackluster, and esculating embattlement of the governmental powers (republican and democrat) it is self evident that one national body cannot meet the needs of the people, following the recomendations of faith based initiative to start moveing the social programs toward the religious sector there must be a national body equal to the government to disperse to the nation, resulting in a more perfect government, and a more perfect religion that saves all from the shortfalls of a capitalist government even itself in time of ression or depression.
