   well obviously you are not paying enough attention to your cat (in his view). This is cat hypnosis: “you will pay attention to me. you will pet me. you will put down the pen and worship me.”

   Or sometimes, the hypnosis is: “I am so cute. You love me. You want to touch me. Pet me Pet me”

   And in some cases, a little more demanding: Pet me Goddammit! Achtung!

   Yep, just like a cat! My Faith kitty is laying on the desk, right beside me. Here I thought I was the only one with cat goober on my keyboard! Ick!
