Prohormone Pre-Cursor Ban Goes Into Effect on January 20th

Attention gym-bunnies:

In an ever-growing effort for politicians to grand-stand and parlay steroid abuse into political gain, hormone pre-cursors (which are not steroids – merely the building blocks for them – the body converts them into testosterone-like substances – research is still debatable if they really do anything) will be banned in the U.S. in the next 3 weeks.

This is in the same stupid vein as the ephedra ban. Like the DEA wants to spend their time tracking this stuff when crystal meth is tearing up the midwest.

Thank God the government is saving us from ourselves. Ron and I were at the supplement store yesterday and the owner said they’d been selling like hotcakes.

Well, at least as far as I know, no one is promoting meth as a safe ingredient in weight-loss herbal tea . . .

    Happy New Year, Andy!
