  1. What’s most striking is the disparity between the popular vote and the votes of the electoral college.

    What I want to know actually is whether and how much the system of having electors gives non-urban voters a greater weight than urban voters…

  2. I think the electoral college keeps the candidates confimed to campaigning and putting resources into the “swing states.” If it were just a popular vote, I think it would be more balanced.
