Most Played

The 10 most played songs from my iTunes collection (stats as longs as I’ve had iTunes on this machine).

  1. ‘Disposable Teens’ - Marilyn Manson
  2. ‘The Death Song’ - Marilyn Manson
  3. ‘Hindi San Diamonds’ - Moulin Rouge (listened to it pretty much continuously for a four-day stretch last winter)
  4. ‘The Fight Song’ - Marilyn Manson
  5. ‘Born Again’ - Marilyn Manson
  6. ‘Walkie Talkie Man’ - Stereogram (obviously living the iPod commercials myself)
  7. ‘Personal Jesus’ - Marilyn Manson
  8. ‘The Hand Tha Feeds’ - Nine Inch Nails
  9. ‘All Really Want’ - Alanis Morrissette (finally - the softer side of Sears)
  10. ‘Wake Up’ - Alanis Morrissette

Good God I look like some kind of criminal-in-waiting. The Manson prevalence is from my iPod because I listen to that when I work out. What great polar opposites: Marilyn Manson and Alanis Morrisette - yet connected in a deep-rooted mistrust of Roman Catholicism. I wonder what it looks like if get rid of statistical outliers.

Well it makes me look like a big dork.

How about you? What are the most played songs on you iTunes? (has this been a meme already - probably - I’m rebooting it!)

Mostly Marilyn Manson and… Alanis Morrissette?

    Good God, indeed.

And, yeah, it’s been a big ol’ meme the past week or so.
