Kellogg Brown & Root Begins Building American Prison Camps to Hold Tens of Thousands

From Alternet:

…the Military Commissions Act of 2006 (detail). It provides the basis for the President to round-up both aliens and U.S. citizens he determines have given material support to terrorists. Kellogg Brown & Root, a subsidiary of Cheney’s Halliburton, is constructing a huge facility at an undisclosed location to hold tens of thousands of undesirables.

The bill awaits signing by Bush.

Tens of thousands.

That took my breath away.

Whilst it may sound queryable to you, I wish they’d do that here – we have plenty of undesirables and our prisons are officially full. Maybe we can export them to you?

This is chilling, but blase Americans will likely think little about it. As our country becomes more authoritarian, there will be places made to put all the “undesireables”. If the christo-fascists hold sway, we homos will be among those undesireables. The trouble with having such places, is there will always be someone who will want to fill them up with their enemies of the day.
