In what may be a stunning development, my accountant says that I’m not going crazy.
I really am missing money from my accounts – presumably the bank that underwrites my credit card merchant account is holding on to the dough for whatever reason (probably to collect more interest, the little minx). The accountant had only run numbers for the end of my September bank statements and didn’t come up with any weirdness – I was running up to date numbers and came back with quite a bit missing and I knew in my heart that I’m really not insane. She’s gonna rattle the bank’s cage on Monday. As she said:
The good news is that you are not going crazy.
I told her that may be the best thing anybody can say to an entrepreneur!
