Had massage #6 yesterday afternoon – calves, buttocks and back. It was very intense. I was half in and out of dream state most of the time – I’m getting good at transcending the discomfort – except for this area in my right butt cheek. My whole hip spasmed when Patrick approached it. And having an intense ass massage like that was pretty strange. At one point I was scared that if I sneezed I’d be in some kind of strange fisting fetish fantasy. But alas all was well. The best part is that the music playing wasn’t the usual New Age Hippy crap but Swan Lake. And the section where the swans attack – so I’m sitting there releasing my ass as the music crescendos. I’m hoping next week we can have ‘The Ride of the Valkyries’ from Die Valkure. Or maybe Verdi’s ‘Dies Irae.’ Or the 1812 Overture with the cannons going off. What was amazing was feeling my pelvis and lower back release into the table as the work proceeded. I get #7 on Wednesday – neck, head and shoulders. Argh.
Got a look at our poster last night for the plays. It’s gonna be pretty damned cool. Carolina (hot latina) is designing it.
Blah blah blah – bar bar bar… watched Young Frankenstein at Bar San Miguel with Matt last night. Madeline Kahn. Gene Wilder. Marty Feldman. I can’t imagine how much fun they had on the set of that movie. All those comic talents in one movie. There aren’t many good comic actresses out there. I mean I guess Cameron Diaz – MAYBE. Jeneane Garafolo perhaps. Julie Louis Dreyfus definitely.
