Federal DNA Database Advances in Senate

With the title Violence Against Women Act, legislation is moving through the Senate that would:

[C]reate a national registry of DNA taken from any person who has been detained by the police, even if the person is not arrested or convicted.

The database is an amendment to the original legislation.

Remember kids the 4th and 5th ammendment mean nothing these days.

Seriously in the age of 9/11 and the Patriot Act whaddaya expect. Hopefully this bill will get struck down at some point … you know when everyone stops being an idiot and figures out what the fuck it is. Believe it or not I still have a little faith in the US political system … a little.
