Dr. Phil’s Personality Test

Supposed this is a personality test Dr. Phil gave Oprah. I’m a 33:

Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful and practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who’s extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over it if that trust is ever broken.

This has to be one of the most inane assessments I’ve ever seen! The fact that HR departments are actually administering this crap, makes me even more elated that I am self employed.

I mean, c’mon. When I am in a conversation with someone, I stand relaxed with my arms to my sides. This wasn’t even an option! Every option for this question has the person doing something with their hands.

May Dr. Phil and Oprah’s karma be justly dealt.

Nonetheless I came in as a whopping 38. Funny, loyalty is such a non-issue for me. hmmmm…….

    Give me a break,

Hey fellows! I scored 50. Am I really charming and well balanced? I’m always helpful to others and that matters a lot more to me. But Dr. Phil – overweening egoic didact that he is, I would have expected to score at LEAST 65…

I hate Dr. Phil with a burning passion. He’s someone spouting ridiculous shit. He should be stopped with whatever force is required. He’s up there with George W….although I do kind of want to meet Dr. Phil…but I know I’ll just start yelling and screaming

I scored a 51 and sent the description to a few people and no one agreed that it sounded like me. I think I went awry over whether I relax with my legs straight out or my legs folded behind my neck. Damn!

    I scored a 49 and join to Mike’s comment:

Dr. Phil Personality Test HOAX email.
This email features a relatively short personality test, which allegedly is being used by “Human Relations Dept at many of the major corporations.” It also claims to be originated by “Dr. Phil” who is a frequent guest of a popular talk show. It further states that Dr. Phil himself conducted this test on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Although there is no way to determine the validity of this quiz, there are several facts that the readers should know before deciding to believe it. First, this test has been circulating in the Internet even before Dr. Phil made his first appearance in the Oprah show. Second, legitimate personality tests, which are fruits of extensive research, are not given out in public to truly maintain their authenticity.

This is a relatively short test for one that supposedly measures one’s person, and is being used for corporate hiring decisions. Users’ discretion is, therefore, highly advised.
