Department of Agriculture Renames Hunger to ‘Food Insecurity'

Paging Mr. Orwell:

In case you missed it, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced last week that it had erased hunger in America. It really did … erase hunger, that is. At the U.S. Department of Agriculture, "hungry" is no longer an acceptable term to describe people who are … well, hungry.  … So the USDA did erase hunger in America by simply erasing the word "hunger" and replacing it with the term "food insecurity."

Double plus good double speak as only our government knows how to operate.
What a crock of shit. This switch in terminology likely allows them to alter statistics and to use those new stats in some way to gain money or take away money for some other pet project. Brother knows best!
