Democrats Mum on Feingold Censure

Russ Feingold’s censure of Bush for the FISA/wiretapping controversy is failing to find support among Feingold’s colleagues:

Appearing on Fox News, Feingold said: “I’m amazed at Democrats, cowering with this president’s numbers so low. The administration just has to raise the specter of the war and the Democrats run and hide. … Too many Democrats are going to do the same thing they did in 2000 and 2004.… [Democrats shouldn’t] cower to the argument, that whatever you do, if you question the administration, you’re helping the terrorists.”

    whether or not you agree with feingold, at least he stands for something. and he’s right, even with w’s numbers so low, the dems appear petrified of truly taking him on in any meaningful way.

    When I heard about Feingold suggesting the censure I couldn’t believe my ears. Thank God someone has the balls to stand up to that SOB. And he’s right…The other Democrats cower. It seems they are content to let the administration get away with anything they want. I am so disappointed with all of them. At least now I can be proud of Feingold!
