9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals polled *all* 26 of their judges and they've decided to not revisit the 3-1 decision that declaring Prop 8- the voter-approved ban- to be a violation of the civil rights of gays and lesbians in California. It was a narrow ruling: 'instead of finding any gay marriage ban would be unconstitutional- the panel limited its decision to California- saying Proposition 8 improperly took away an existing right.' But this puts things on track for SCOTUS.
Court Won't Revisit Gay Marriage Case; May Go to Justices
