CNN Cans Tucker Carlson

CNN said goodbye to pundit Tucker Carlson on Wednesday, and with him likely the “Crossfire” program that has been the granddaddy of high-volume political debate shows on cable television.

From Matt Taibbi: (via MeFi)

The Carlson/Paul Begala “debate” show is not only one of the biggest con games in the informational arena, it’s the archetypal blueprint for the larger con game of American politics. Real politics isn’t a ping-pong game. It’s ugly, uncomfortable, deadly serious and inherently bad television.

Update: This may in preparation for his disgracing the PBS airwaves.

Hi Andy! Which flight attendant is the “Ron” you spoke of on my blog? Feel free to email me if you don’t want to make it public.

I couldn’t agree more about the bowtie 🙂

RE: The support forums, no problem. Did you see the other method? It’s a lot easier to understand (and implement), and I would imagine it’s more efficient (though I don’t know).

    Cheers.
