Bread in the Oven

Only thing better than baked cajun chicken served on fresh spinach salad before a vice presidential debate is knowing that I have whole wheat bread with crunchy almonds and sesame seeds baking in the bread machine.

Update: After “make-or-break” buildup, CNN commentators downplayed debates’ significance

I swear, Dick Cheney is seething. I keep thinking he’s going to lean over and just bite off John Edwards’s head. That pacemaker is doing overtime tonight.

By the way, I’m going to roll a slew of political posts tonight just to get them out of the way. Not many commenters seem to be really responsive to political posts – I’m guessing fatigue. I keep the posts to remind myself of how things change from day-to-day, month-to-month and year-to-year.

Now that sounds fabulous. I miss that type of food sometimes. Well, maybe not so much. Country Fried Steak, collard greens, fresh tomaters, mashed potatoes, real cream corn, cornbread, and sweet tea is more of the menu here in the south. Wait, did I forget peach pie ? How dare me. And I live in Georgia. Shit, if I don’t be careful, they are gonna send me back to the north on a midnight train. 🙂 Hope all is well with ya. I loved the debate.

Dick Cheney was seething. And that salad sounds DELISH.

I’ve also noticed that most people don’t comment on political posts to my blog. I just assumed the posts weren’t very good, but maybe you’re right…people are just sick of politics.

Now, I am completely hungry. I thought that the debate was much more heated than the one last week.
