Box Office Receipts Due to Shitty Movies

 Wow. Accountability.

Now, four straight weekends of crowded theaters have forced moguls and creative executives to admit in public what they have spent months avoiding: They were clueless about what audiences wanted.

Saw “The Brothers Grimm” last weekend. Wow. Two hours watching Heath Ledger is the best thing I could say about it.

I hope now that the problem has been admitted they take the steps to fix it!

I have to second that comment on Heath Ledger. Plan to catch him in Brokeback Mountain (top prize winner at the Venice International Film Festival) where he plays a gay cowboy. The movie is made from a great short story by Anne Proloux.

Ackkk! I should know better than to rely on my memory after buying that memory improvement book then forgetting where I put it.
NOT Anne Proloux but Annie Proulx, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of The Shipping News. Brokeback Mountain is in the collection Close Range: Wyoming Stories.
