Senator, I’m sorry… for the last four days, I have been seeing dead bodies here in the streets of Mississippi and to listen to politicians thanking each other and complimenting each other — I have to tell you, there are people here who are very upset and angry, and when they hear politicians thanking one another, it just, you know, it cuts them the wrong way right now, because there was a body on the streets of this town yesterday being eaten by rats because this woman has been laying in the street for 48 hours, and there is not enough facilities to get her up. Do you understand that anger?

What is happening down in Louisiana and Mississippi, or should I say what isn’t happening, is absolutely disgusting! Not only is it disgusting, it is also shameful. There in the United States, the richest country in the world, there are people living in deplorable conditions, starving to death, and dying from lack of medical attention. Didn’t “Dubya” declare those states disaster areas before Katrina even hit?! So my question is, if “Dubya” already did this, why the hell are they all still sitting in Washington talking and doing press confrences about what they are going to do for these poor people?! Wasn’t the whole point to get funding and a plan already in motion so it was there when the sun came up for those poor, devastated people when they saw how destructive Katrina was and how much they lost? I think Anderson is amazing anyway, but when he ripped into Landrieu, I thought “good for you Anderson!” I watched his show tonight like I do every night, and you could really tell that this story is naturally starting to get to him. Cudos to him! The American government is not doing nearly enough to help those people down there and they should have been there days ago! I’m glad that Anderson chewed Landrieu’s head off and ate it for a snack she deserves it, just like all the other deadbeat government heads down there!

I have complete faith in Our Illustrious Leader and His administration. After all, He set up the new Homeland Security dept, so obviously New Orleans is well prepared. Anything that suggests otherwise is just the liberal media using it’s leverage to bring down the rating of Our Illustrious Leader lower than 34%.

Anderson was awesome. “Good for him!!!” was exactly what my partner exclaimed when we heard his comment. We were both on our backs in bed, but it really got our attention. The fact Anderson’s such a truly sweet guy made it all the stronger; you could tell it wasn’t his style — but the facts of the situation absolutely required him/anyone to say what he did. It was his finest moment — of the many I’ve seen — and it was a side of him we hadn’t seen before. It’s a shame that his show is the only one on CNN’s evening lineup that isn’t repeated. (Larry K is on 3 times, the others at least twice.) Anderson deserves a tremendous amount of respect.

As for the comment above from “Blind Faith Neocon”, are you serious or are you just being sarcastic?! First of all, your “Illustrious leader” had to set up the Department of Homeland Security after September 11/01 because he didn’t read a report given to him by the CIA a month before the attacks on 9/11. The report was about Osama bin Laden, Al Queida, and the threat they posed on America with terrorist attacks. So, because he did not read this, we are now all mourning the terrible, senseless, and not to mention preventable loss of over 3,000 lives every year on 9/11. And THAT is why he had to set up the DHS.
As for New Orleans being prepared because your “Illustrious Leader” set up the Department of Homeland Security, maybe you are not watching the news to closely weather it be liberal media or not. Because if you were, you would see all of the people that are still trapped in their homes and on top of buildings, and dead bodies that after 5 days are still laying in the streets or sitting in the wheelchair that they were in when they died. They are also having to live and sleep among these bodies as well as human waste! So obviously they were not very prepared for this. With that said, now that it is all said and done, it is now time to get these people fed, clothed, and hydrated. But like on 9/11, you have people saying “where is our President?” in the aftermath of it all. Well, he is having meetings and press confrences discussing with his administration ways that they should deal with this. Those people don’t need promises, they need action!
As for the liberal media using the TRUTH as leverage to bring down the rating of your “Illustrious leader” to below 34%, you obviously missed something in that statement! Having your approval rating even near or below 34% isn’t very illustrious! If he is really as great as you think he is, wouldn’t his approval rating be at least 50-55%? I guess you really are blind. All I can say is, is that thank GOD he can never be President of the United States ever again after this term!!! After that his dictatorship FINALLY ends!!!
